What should I listen to?
I've got my computer, my white port, and not a damn soul to share this stuff with. I need music. Or something. What should I listen to?

2. Some awesome East German Rock
Silbermond - "Irgendwas bleibt"

http://link.brightcove.com/services/player/bcpid1305025354?bclid=336002323&bctid=10463767001

I realize that it's hard to appreciate music when it's not in English,

So, with my friend Google's help and some tweaking, here are the lyrics:

Irgendwas bleibt - (Something is Still Unchanged)

Tell me that this place is safe here
and everything is good here still.
And that the word that you give me today,
tomorrow you will keep.

This world is fast
and has constantly to be unlearned.
Because Temptations continue their deadline.
But please swear that when I come back,
everything will be the same.

Give me a little bit of security
in a world in which nothing seems safe.
Give me that one thing in this difficult time.

Give me just a little bit of a grip.
And just cradle me to safety.
Get me out of this fast time.
Give me a little bit of speed.

Tell me that something... is still unchanged.

Even if the world goes,
that 'here' is not affected.
.. Nothing happens ..

5. I can't listen to Freebird.
I got my fill of that song more than 20 years ago, and my ears will no longer allow it.

7. I think I'm more in need of "music that blots out thoughts of stuff that hurts" -
not sure Mozart can do that. :)

I'd love to go for a run and burn off some energy, but I'm home alone with the kids and can't do that right now.

15. How old are you? In my limited experience, how old one is has a lot to do with
what music he/she will appreciate.

22. I'm late to the game here, but...
...if no one's around, listen to pop music from when you were like 12 and sing it at the top of your lungs.

Does it for me.
