Any idea how to over-ride security settings on a pdf document so I can print it?
Edited on Sat Jun-06-09 11:28 AM by Rabrrrrrr
I have a doc I really want to print out - but it's security has it set so that I can't copy text, print it, or edit it.

Any idea how to over-ride that?

Maybe a basic no-frills pdf reader that can read, but doesn't understand the security shit?

4. When you install foxit
does it automatically override Adobe or do you have to manually go in and shut off Adobe? Do they conflict?

5. They are both independent softwares.
You just have to set which one should open .PDF files by default.

6. Do you remember if it gives you the option during install
to set it as the default?

7. I believe so but if that's not the case:

Right-Click on a .PDF document then select "Open with" and in the list click on Choose Program, tick

the box called "alway use this program..." and finally click on Foxit.Done! :)

3. Click on File, the Print, then in the drop down menu, choose
Microsoft Office Document Image Writer (If you have Office).

That will open up a save window. Save the file, and then open it up. It will open in another program, and you can print it out from there.
