1. Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band
Actually, the band is pretty good - they just need to find a new lead singer.

8. But he wrote that song about racial harmony using the piano keyboard as a metaphor...
...the one about the white keys and the black keys sitting together in perfect harmony on his piano keyboard and why don't we.

That one.

7. And ironically, he got more work than the other two COMBINED.
Yeah, the other two were famous offspring, but Billy Hinsche remained a part of the Beach Boys franchise right up until the end ("The End" being Carl Wilson's death and the franchise reverting to Mike Love, Bruce Johnston, and a bunch of bar band hacks who now tour wineries, casinos, and theme parks).

9. The latest and crappiest "supergroup" ever..... "Chickenfoot"

Or as I call them.... ChickenSHIT.

And SHIT is what they are, primarily because a Republican Tequila salesman is their singer.

10. I got 30 seconds into that shit on Rhapsody and BAILED...
...although Anthony was ROBBED when it came to the VH reunion, so even though Chickenfoot won't see a penny of my hard-earned cash, I would like to see his bank balance rise. He was there from day one, and the "brothers" BONED him.

11. It was a blessing in disguise.
That reunion was a real bad mistake. Even worse than the Doors.

12. I hear ya...I saw the "Eddie Equipment Malfunction" YouTube clips.
As a bass player, I dunno...

...but as the harmony vocalist who anchored every hot that band had, he deserved a better and more graceful exit.

14. He Got When the Gettin' Was Good.
I saw DLR's first tour with Vai, Sheehan, and Bisonette and they could easliy cover all the VH basses except when it came to backup vocals. All the choruses lacked pop punch of vocal harmonies that VH had and was sorely missed.

15. "On paper," Vai kicked Eddie's ass...
...Vai was originally hired by Zappa to transcribe some of his "impossible" pieces, like "The Black Page." F.Z. fans will recall Vai being credited with "impossible guitar" on his albums.

But Eddie always had one thing that Vai didn't...the ability to craft a song. As a sideman, Vai's got the goods. And yeah, I know the "7th song" on his CDs is always the weeper, his answer to Jeff Beck's "Cause We've Always Ended As Lovers"...

...but Vai...like Satriani...is a sideman, a technician.

That's how Satriani ended up in Chickenfoot, and that's how Vai ended up with Roth.

13. Mike robbed himself
because he wouldn't pull his head out of Hagar's ass. Not saying Eddie didn't have issues with him (and God only knows what they were) but Mikey wasn't blameless in this one.

As for Van Halen, I thought they sounded great in 07, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't miss Mikey and his JD bass up there on stage. :evilfrown:

16. I don't deny that Mike can tell you what Sammy had for lunch.
And that's the real issue. Eddie forced Mikey to choose sides, and Mikey went with Sammy, and Eddie said "SEE YA."

Still sucks, but the VH brothers have the voting majority.
