Serious question: How to get catprints off of my car?
I just went to the DIY car wash, mainly to get the pollen off of the car. The kind with the high pressure hose, etc. The cat prints are still there, didn't even fade them.

:wtf:

So how do I get them off?

1. Keep some catnip a few feet away from the car!

2. Use a chamois to wipe them off
Or if you prefer, a Sham-Wow.

13. It really is
I use it on my motorcycle a lot, it really helps with the places on the paint that get pelted with a lot of sand, gravel etc.

6. Cleaning wax
often called "cleaner and glaze" or "1 step wax" has a very mild abrasive in it. It will remove a microscopic layer of your car's finish. This will remove the prints, because the chemicals in the cats' prints have soaked into the oxidized layer of paint.
It will also remove the oxidized paint, restoring your car's finish to almost sparkly.

Caveat is you have to do the entire car or the finish will be patchy. It really isn't difficult.

A little more efficient but also harder to work with is "rubbing compound". Apply like wax and rub it with vigor. Rinse thoroughly.

Use a normal paste wax after both.
Resist the temptation to use any mechanical devise to hasten the process. Unless you have professional skills it's very easy to burn spots in your paint from the excess friction.

12. when food manufactures
find rat shit in the building they don't just sweep it up and call the problem solved, they have to do something with the rat. if it's a stray, trap it and take it to the humane shelter.
