5. More of the same. Snarky male comedians hosting 'talk' shows late at night.
I like Letterman and don't need Falon, O'Brien, etc.

10. Boo Andy Richter
If there was one thing I liked about The late show was the relationship Max had with Conan, already now with Andy Richter back, it seems to have taken a big hit.

13. Pretty good opening bit with him running cross-country.
After that up to the break seemed a bit forced. I think it will take a few weeks for him to get settled.

17. i didn't think that was letterman, that seemed more like Conan
I don't recall Letterman ever going out and doing extended bits in public.

Hopefully his monologues will be good. (He said the show would have plenty, just not tonight.)

Otherwise, like I said... meh.

20. The one thing about Conan and Jay and Dave and Jimmy et al...
Is that they make me appreciate Johnny Carson all that much more. He was The King Of Late Night.

21. This, for me, would be in the thread of "TV Shows I Hate".
Edited on Tue Jun-02-09 05:55 AM by WinkyDink
I'm SURE Conan is so much more edifying than "American Idol", though.
