Besides, you've lived in the south...they put their crazies out on the front porch to show them off to the neighbors.:P

10. I'll send you some from here in Georgia.
I have had enough of rain and storms for the past month. The weather news people keep saying that that's good because we need the rain because of the drought we have had. I say, enough already!!! I am going to do a reverse rain dance.

5. Want!!
We never get decent thunderstorms around here. We joke that it's because of our alpha male cat--he HATES thunder or strong winds, and starting when we first got him (he was a rescue at 6 mos., 12 years ago), all thunderstorms started going AROUND us. We track them on the radar--they seem to be headed straight for us, but at the last minute they always veer off course or wink out of existence. And we've lived in three different towns! We decided long ago that it was Dilbert vaporizing "da booms". Below: piccie of "happy pants".

14. I believe that in fact it's not an actual thunderstorm but...

a volcano in Chile. The huge dust and ash cloud produce the lightning.

Here's something that also looks like an Alien invasion:

:wow:

It got eerily black and windy outside. I haven't even checked to see if the game is still on.

28. PSA: Thunderstorms are quite rare in Hawai'i.
:-)

Seriesly, I once knew a border collie who didn't like them, either. Of course, since she was born here, that is not entirely surprising. Long story short, one day a few years ago we did have one, I ended up at her house, she ended up on my lap, and I had a three-inch-long claw mark on my tummy for several weeks.

29. We have storms all this week, a slight break and then more forecast
starting again Tuesday.
We were low on rain a month ago, I think we have enough now, thanks.....

Give some elsewhere.
