I swear I have cheated the library.
I've had this book Lawrence of Arabia by Jeremy Wilson since February 15th. It's due June 17th. How the did I do this without fines? Good fucking question.

At first it was due in 3 weeks. Then I renewed it, giving me another 3 weeks. Then someone new renewed it again even when you're supposed to renew books only once. Then one guy mentions how he'll let me 'emergency' renew it again for 6 weeks if I use my fiance's card so we did that. Then just recently, my fiance went online and renewed it for 3 more weeks...

It's not that I'm a slow reader, because I've read 21 other books on the side of reading this goddamn book. I wish the goddamn book was finished, goddammit...

2. I can't sit through movies that well.
Makes me all antsy to waste time when I could be reading.

5. They probably like you at the library
Our local library extended the amount of time we can check out DVDs and gets our holds out before we get to the front of the line, so we don't have to wait.

We gave them cookies at Christmas and now they love us. Next Christmas, they're getting a big gift basket, and I figure we'll get curbside service.

6. I don't think so...
It's a big library, with two floors. I see a crowd wait until it's 9am to get inside. I just don't think I'm noticed that much...
