How dumb is dubya?
Dumber than a box of rocks?

A couple jokers short of a deck?

Too stupid to pour piss out of a boot?

Couldn't spell cat if you spotted him the C and the T?

Dumber than a turkey in a rainstorm?

Somewhere between Gerald Ford and Dan Quayle?

Other?

4. It sounds quite stupid, yes...
... but, Mark Crispin Miller has looked into this carefully, and finds that when Bush has no moral investment in an issue, he's bored by it and there's a disconnect between his brain and his mouth--prompting lines such as "I know how hard it is to put food on your family." It's at those times one knows that a) he really doesn't have a clue about such a difficulty, and b) he doesn't really care how hard it is for others.

When he's talking off the cuff about things that interest him (perhaps the more destructive of his decisions), he's quite lucid and clear and plain-spoken.

Interestingly, Kevin Phillips has an anecdote in his latest book which suggests that both Bush and his father have congenitally short attention spans. Both of them have a limit of about an hour. Beyond that, they lose interest. Might be the reason why they like to play golf as quickly as they do.

Mendacious, venal, creepy, corrupt? Yes.

Moronic? No.

Cheers.

5. LOL------> "Deliverance"
He may not be a complete imbecile but he's FOR SURE an emotional(shallow) cripple.............look who and what he aligned himself with to get his "job" (and I'm not referring to God) I am pointing to the cult of fundie/Dominionism and it's adherents (Rove,Delay, etc).

You know, a person can achieve high marks in an education facility but it doesn't mean that person is bright or balanced or even ethical.

Bush is dumber than a sock puppet.

3. Probably other....
His SAT scores are on his Yale record, a copy of which is available on the net. They're not blistering, but they aren't moron level, either.

He was probably intensively coached in taking the SAT at Andover, and the scores could be a bit higher than he would have done otherwise.

Bush's greatest intellectual failing is not his raw intelligence, but rather is his indifference to all knowledge which is of no political value to him. He sets the tone for his administration, and his is probably the least interested in policy in this century. All that counts to him is the political reception of his proposed legislation, and that will probably be his undoing.

But, he's not exceptionally bright. The proof of that is that he lies badly. You have to be quick-smart to keep track of all the lies with as many as he's uttered, and he isn't quick-smart.

Cheers.

8. He sounds like a classic slacker to me.
He is not stupid, not bright. He does no more than he has to. He does not care, because he does not have to care. If he screws up, he can always go home to mommy and daddy, and live off them.

11. Hard to lie if you are not bright as you do not recall what you had said.
It is a lesson seen over a life time as I learned early I was the world worst at telling them. Ha Ha but then most of the people I know do it badly also. Does that mean I just know people with IQ's as low as Bush? I do not think he is stupid, he is just so closed mind. He knows what is 'right' and that is it. Odd with all that education but I have met others in college like him.

20. When Bush* took the SAT...
No one asked for an ID; you just gave your name, and they put a check by your name on their list.
Many of my friends worked their way through school taking tests for dipshits like Bush*.
