I LOVE all that Don Martin stuff. Especially the earlier stuff with the even crazier drawing style.

Where'd you get that image?

3. It was at someone's blog. I went looking for Don Martin images
because all of a sudden lately I've been thinking about those crazy paperbacks full of Fester and Karbunkle stories, which used to give me hours of escapist pleasure when I was a kid. I have no idea why they've been coming to mind lately.

4. ME TOO! ME TOO! ME TOO!
I used to read Mad religiously, and I had several books of Don Martin cartoons . . . don't know what happened to them, but I had most of them pretty well memorized at one point . . . Don Martin's stuff was great, and I can't tell you how often I laughed out loud at some of it . . .

8. So, when is National Gorilla-Suit Day?
And when can we buy a leather bound volume of the greatest works of Don Martin?

Used to have all the old Mad paperbacks, too.

15. Poofa-DOOM!
Yeah, old Don certainly was a brilliant artist.

And am I the only person who thought Dave Berg's cartoons were boring and boringly drawn? Although he did draw skimpily dressed women from time to time...
