I truly am in my second childhood...I got myself a tricycle

1. I've been looking at these,
I would really love to have one of my own. Lucky You.

2. Check out Amazon ~~ they are priced a lot lower there.
I would not have bought one if I had to have paid full price for it. Too expensive...but a ton less on Amazon:

3. How fast will it go?
I would love to have something like that to ride to the store. :hi:

6. Top speed ~~ 15 MPH...
...it really takes off quite quickly and has a range of about 30 miles on one full charge.

I am having a ball with it. I live in a Senior's development and my best gal pal in her got one, too. Yesterday we had our male friends over and my pal's son and they put the trikes together for us. Today, another gal pal in here got on Amazon and ordered one.

I really, really like it.

4. I approve, but please be careful when you're out and about.
Cyclists seem to be invisible to drivers, even motorized cyclists. :D

8. I just ride it in the development where I live and am not planning...
...to take it out on the street but I could if I had to.

Really weird to get use to at first ~~ you cannot lean on it like a bicycle. So...you have to go navagate corners a bit differently.

The seat has a little back to it and it is pretty comfortable. I am having a ball!

:hi:

12. I posted the link to the Amazon order page in a post above.
The prices at Amazon are the best I have found anywhere for this tricycle...like 45% less than the bike stores.

14. I'll take a look.
I'm not quite at the stage where a bike will suffice, having two boys who don't drive and won't drive for a while. But I love the idea... it reminds me of New Zealand where everybody biked everywhere.

10. I really like it so far...
...and my bestest male pal is rigging up a 3-point harness for the Scottie so she can ride in the basket in the back. I have a tartan pillow for the bottom of the basket already, but I am afraid that without something to keep her in, she would get out or fall out.

Thanks for the compliment...and I am having a ball with it! :hi:

7. Cool trike!
When you start to feel the need for speed, check out the tadpole (two wheels in front) recumbent trikes...
like this Trice Q:

or something really zippy like this, the Catrike 700:

13. Whoa. Never seen those things before. Can anything LOOK more --
-- needlessly expensive and latte-liberalesque?

Do they come in organic? (At twice the price, natch.)

Hi,
That looks really cool. So you can pedal or use the battery? How long does it take the battery to charge?

Do you wear a helmet while cruising?

Peace
