I'll give you that she is one of the nicest TV moms, but as a quality mom she is out of her league. First of all, she might as well have welcome written on her because she is a doormat! You think that if she were your mom she'd be able to protect you from Archie's violent rampages? NO! Then there is the whole voice issue. It's annoying, and in my experience people with annoying moms have difficult love/hate issues with their moms and reject their moms' guidance, even to their own detriment. Ever wonder why Gloria is such a screwup? She has her mother's flakyness combined with her father's agressiveness. Meathead could do better!
