I have no idea where is the nest or its Mother. I am holding it as I type this. Shiloh is confused and looking for it :eyes:

1. If he appears to be okay put him back outside near where he probably came from.

Check in a few hours to make sure he was found okay, but mother rabbits leave their kits unattended all the time.

I live in the woods. Shiloh is really pissed. Meowing like crazy. Silly cat.

3. Probably pretty near your house, a cat probably couldn't drag a baby bunny too far.

Find him a likely spot in a sheltered place (some high grass is good, or under a bush) and check on him after dark. Mom will track him down. PS Keep your kitty inside.

4. The baby rabbit is fine. I have 2 cats. Shocco is still outside.
I did what you said. I let it go at the edge of the woods. Shiloh is inside. I hope it makes it home.

5. His odds are much better there.
Baby rabbits almost never make it if they have to be hand fed. The best bet is to let Mom find them.

6. Do you think Mom will mind that there is human smell on her baby?

9. Nah, she'll just bathe him.
Rabbits tend to groom each other obsessively anyway.

13. If you have any raw meat in the house, give Shiloh some of that.
It will help him feel better. Our girl is a hunter and always brings Mr. Gut gifts. I put them back out and give her a special food treat. Good work with that little bunny.

19. I am glad he is feeling better.
I would keep the guy in until you check back to see the bunny gone from where you placed it. Maybe LeftyMom can be more specific.

14. Easy. First have sex with Glenn Close. Next, dump her.
Lastly, put on a big pot of boling water and this problem takes care of itself. (I really can't believe that I have to help y'all with stuff like this.)

22. If it can run in the house, it is old enough to run outside.
We took one in that had physical defects (and a complete lack of fear). He's been a great pet and is almost 3. If you put it outside and it scampers away, it will be just fine. They leave the nest when they are VERY small.
