45. I played a wedding about 20 years ago that was attended by Rick Springfield
it was either in Albuquerque or Santa Fe, can't remember. He didn't sit in, nor did I meet him, but rumor has it that someone came up to him and enthusiastically shook his hand while telling him "wow, Rick Springsteen, its a pleasure to meet you".

Edited on Sat May-23-09 07:46 PM by Mike 03
Like you, I'm sure there has got to be something better than this one I'm just not thinking of.

My introduction to that song was hearing Donna Summer perform it, and I thought it was remarkable.

ON EDIT: This is a very cool question, BTW. Let's see what turns up.

Which was co-written by Wendy Waldman and Eric Kaz, by the way. Good people. The album as a whole also featured Bill Champlin (of Chicago), Michael des Barres (of Power Station), Dickey Betts, Chris Botti, Omar Hakim, Steve Jones, Willie Nelson, Lenny Pickett, Bonnie Raitt, Barbara Streisand, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Ron Wood and Dweezil Zappa.
