35. I finally found that version.

Until I figured out Lackawanna blues was originally a stage play then turned into a made for television movie, I was able to locate and have a listen. It's (practically) the same arrangement as Louis' tune so it comes across like a tribute to the Man, Mos Def is smart that way. I'm going to try and chase down a copy of the Lackawanna blues film.
