6. I've gotta look up Nordheimer--I'm not sure if that is the name of the event

or the river. That started out as a fairly pushy III, with nice wide lines and easily avoidable complications, but jeez, it really jumped up as they got farther into it. The second to last drop looks like it REALLY wants to shove you into the left wall's pillow. If there were any undercuts or strainers there.... :scared:

Time to take a peak over at AW and see what's what.

9. No joke, those guys have some skills.

Nice blunts, wave wheels and "wave loops". I've never seen anybody else do those. I know people who flatwater loop (the forward aerial somersault thing) but doing it in big water waves is pretty innovative.

That did look like a really friendly river, but damn, if you come out of your boat, you ain't gettin' back in anytime soon!
