3. Why do you keep picking all the worst Beatles songs?

5. I didn't pick them; the record-buyers of the '60s did!
Did you happen to notice the subject lines of these polls? They only cover songs that went to #1 on the Billboard Hot 100. And for better or for worse, these were the Beatles tunes that topped the charts back then.

Besides, if you consider tunes like "She Loves You," "Ticket To Ride" and "Paperback Writer" among the Beatles' worst, then frankly I can't take your musical opinions seriously.

One of the most perfect Stax/Volt singles.

10. That's what's great about these polls
They force you to decide what songs you absolutely, positively can't live without! ;)

9. I Want You Back-Jackson Five / Suspicous Minds-Elvis Presley
Back when Michael Jackson was not only an amazing child performer,
but an actual human being, and Elvis' last great hit.

11. Elvis was late '69, the Jackson Five early 1970.
Right now, we're only up to 1968.

13. "Light My Fire" was my lullaby, my brother would listen to it on his
stereo in his room across the hall, and I would listen along to that and his other favorites; it really shaped my musical tastes a lot, since he was 10 years older than I, and I was about 8 at the time.

14. I'm not a big Doors fan, but I've always liked "Light My Fire."
Not to mention "Hello, I Love You," "Touch Me," and perhaps a dozen more of their tunes. But I still contend that Jim Morrison is *the* most overrated figure in rock and roll history!

16. My hubby would agree with you on the band as a whole; he is a bass
player and just could not understand a band with no bassist!
