report on my math impaired daughter, and her progress

Around Christmas I posted a plea for help for my daughter (see link below) and received a wonderful assortment of supportive replies.

Well, she got the tutor, studied, got through the GED and then today took the placement test for Scottsdale Community College and passed with a high enough score that they want to place her in an algebra class. She is floating!!!!

This tutor knows how to teach the right brained, and she has decided to take the math first and get it all out of the way while she still has access to The Miracle Worker! At least math is easily transferable from one school to another!

She read all the comments in the original post and was encouraged by all of you!
