I assume she's some sort of celebrity, but I've never heard of her. It's funny - we have this immense celebrity-based industry (magazines, TV 'news' shows, awards events, etc), but there aren't enough actually interesting people to go around, so the industry just creates famous people (Hiltons, Kardashians, etc) to talk about...
