I was down in Santa Monica for three weeks the end of April for the birth of my fourth grandson, and had some time to get down to Venice Beach for some people-watching. Gotta love that place. :)

He is beautiful! I love Venice Beach. I haven't been there in 13 years. When I was there, there was a dude with dreads on roller blades playing a guitar that would follow people around. He's the one I remember the most.

Those drummers, or ones like them, have been around for a couple of generations or so.

I remember the guitar guy on roller skates, too, it's been so long that he is looking a lot older.
