Finally home! woohoo!
After a nice leisurely drive through the countryside of the MSP airport (we taxiied for almost 20 minutes) and before that being held at the tarmac 10 minutes because the "paperwork on our weight" wasn't right (:wtf:) we finally took off...and it was a good flight except for some kind of rough stuff outside of Cleveland (typical :eyes: ) we landed on time! Hell of a tail wind I think.
I also know I made the right decision re:leaving the cats home alone with extra food. Although Sophie arched her back tucked her tail and ran away from me when I first came in, she is now sitting comfortably next to me, acting completely normal. Smokie greeted me right away and after eating some canned food (the first thing I did was feed them) she visited briefly and is now hanging out on her favorite window perch. So both are back to normal.
As for the testing at Mayo, my doctor thinks the nausea is a side effect of the interferon, but since the interferon is really helping with the blood counts we are doing a compromise..lowering the dosage somewhat, plus he gave me anti-nausea meds. We shall see. I hope this helps, I have been feeling REALLY rotton of late.
I took some pics of various locations that I will try to post later...

4. Wanker
I did think about you yesterday...when the tech was shoving the IV needle in my arm and moving it around to get to an uncooperative vein...I was thinking "I bet this is what it feels like listening to Symarip's mancannon.." :P

7. The technical term is "malaka"
http://adrastos.blog-city.com/carrollton_malaka_burglar_busted.htm

Back to the title of the post. You might ask yourself what 's a malaka? I first explained it right before this year's Greek Festival: "Malaka is the all purpose cuss word used by Greeks in the same way that we Yanks drop the F bomb. Malaka literally means a jerk-off or wanker but its use conveys so much more. It's not unilke the way the Mexicans use pendejo, which literally means pubic hair. A real sign of contempt from a Greek is when they call you a malakiki, which means little jerk off. "

Malaka. :P

6. E komo mai kaua (welcome back), TZ!
And, as it turns out, I am still alive for the job in DC from February, that I had pretty much given up on by now. So next time, you might even have a cat-sitter!
