2. I actually just need a Fred Meyer.
We don't have them here. I think the farthest one south is in Chico. :(

3. Fred Meyer. Wow, I was just thinking about that place this morning.
When I first moved to the States, Mom discovered Fred Meyer and eventually it became the one place she shopped for virtually everything. This morning (on the way to walmart... don't tell anybody) I thought about what she used to say: "A day without Freddie's is a day without sunshine." You'd have to know the Florida orange juice commercial to appreciate it.

And that's all I have to say on the matter. Oh, pick me up some onion bulkie rolls please. :hi:

6. I think "soda" is more common.
When I lived in Ohio, it was "pop."

When I lived in California, it was "soft drinks."

Here in Oregon, it seems to be "soda."

7. Hmmm... I was pretty sure Washington was "pop" country.
There is even a website devoted to this.

Apparently the "soda-pop" line :-) runs straight down the Columbia River.

8. Why does Fred Meyer have soda you want?
And why do you know him? Is it just because he has the kind of soda you desire? Or is he just a nice fellow overall?
