Scorsese to do Sinatra - Who should play Sinatra?
This article has a bunch of suggestions:

http://www.rollingstone.com/rockdaily/index.php/2009/05/14/your-frank-sinatra-shortlist-leonardo-dicaprio-johnny-depp-chris-pine/

I have to go with Michael Imperioli. As the article states, he does not really have the "look" but I think he could nail the character best. Regardless, with Scorsese directing it should be interesting.

7. Sorry but...
Joe Piscopo is a douchebag. Everyone I know from Jersey thinks the same, he maligned us with a Long Island accent that we had to put up with for years. He has faded into obscurity and I hope he stays there!

6. Nikki Finke says Universal is pushing for Johnny Depp

I could get down with that. I know better than to question what Johnny Depp is capable of doing.

11. hmmmm
The problem with Johnny Depp is.... He's Johnny Depp! I always see him and not the character he is intending to play. His earlier work was great but now... He is like Jack Nicholson, always playing Jack.

22. No, it was not the last season...........
I just found this - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Happy_Wanderer_(The_Sopranos_episode)#Guest_Starring

Nancy Sinatra, Jr. also appeared in an episode - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chasing_It

No, I'm not too obsessed by the series - not at all. Uh-uh. Not me.

I'm read The Soprano Family Cookbook. Not only are the recipes really good, the stories around the recipes are hysterical. A great read, and I got it cheap - brand new - at alibris.com.

OK, I'm obsessed..................

16. Actually, he's not a "junior"
His father was Francis Albert Sinatra.

He's Francis Albert Emmanuel Sinatra. Using "Jr." is incorrect.

I have no idea why I know this .....................

The kid's still "unknown" enough not to have all his previous roles intrude on playing Sinatra.

And thank you for that lovely collection of very pretty boys.

Except for Nic Cage. I mean, really ............................
