Do you ever reinvent yourself?
I do -

I was Heavy Metal Rocker back in the 1980's

I was Party-Hearty Frat Boy back in the 1990's

I was Socialist Sensitive Guy back in the Late 90's

I was "Elvis Lothario" back in the 2000's

In the late 2000's I became The "Thick Dark Dude (polar opposite of the Thin White Duke)"

What about you?

1. I don't think my personality has changed much ever.
I am who I am. I don't really change.

Learn, yes. But change?

Nope.

5. I think the personalities in the men in my family are genetic.
I never met or knew my brother until I was 16. We were raised by different people, in different religions, in different cultures and languages.

We are nearly identical. Same mistakes, foibles, humor, weirdness level, etc etc. Evidently my dad and grandfather were the same way. Weird really.

7. Wow - very interesting!
There may be archetypes there - but in the end, you can reinvent yourself into anything you want...

8. Sure, but I think of it more as "growing up."
Too bad we have to, though. It would be fun to be a hippie again!

9. Yes, I guess in many ways.
But then I decided to just be me, and it turns out I’m a bitch.

10. no, I would not call it reinventing myslef...
I would say that as I grow, and become more confident with who I am as a person, I change to reflect that new insight into myself.

Although I am wondering when I went from 'skinny teenager' to 'chubby late 20s person'. :P
