re: moving; what keeps you where you are; what draws you towards moving?
Just looking for general advice/thoughts about relocating and moving away from one's current home, what kinds of things need to be evaluated, pros, cons, people who've done it who can share regrets and pleasant surprises. Thanks.

4. I've still got boxes I'm sure haven't been opened since we moved from NH 10 years ago!
A lot of it is long-term keeper stuff, to be fair (college journals, keepsakes, etc).

But STILL! Every once in a while I find one that's essentially a last minute counter sweep. Most of it is trash, but there's SOMETHING in there I've been looking for since that move (and there was another in between).

5. I know what you mean - same here - boxes from 13 years ago
old 45's, matchbook covers, etc. - mostly it's junk, like old phone bills and such, but there's not much incentive for me to go through it at the moment.

3. I moved
Edited on Mon May-11-09 09:22 AM by MissHoneychurch
because I bought a condo. Not going to move anytime soon again :)

It was a pain in the ass but the new place was worth it.

I guess it comes down to the question how much you love your recent place or if you want to get the heck outta there.
