1. I just had some grilled chicken.
And I thought it was good. Better than I had expected.

2. I didn't care for it
But, I must admit, my husband spoils me. He grills organic chicken, on the grill outside, frequently. I can never go back!

12. I thought it was pretty good, but...
...the pieces seemed awfully small. Then it hit me...that is the size of their chicken before they add the batter for frying.

:wow:

5. When they first introduced it...
...I spotted this article (taste test of KFC grilled versus El Pollo Loco): http://fastfood.freedomblogging.com/2009/04/22/kfcs-new-kentucky-grilled-chicken-vs-el-pollo-loco/18537/

...and was glad I read it before trying it. I had coupons and was ready to go but after reading the article, I won't. One reviewer wrote "I needed several napkins and hand washings after eating KGC."

6. They must be basting the chicken in a lot of oil before the grill it.
That's a way of making it crisp quickly, but yes, it would be greasy as hell. :puke:

8. God damn, I keep getting these coupons and saving them, even though I have not eaten
fast food since 2002.

I keep fantasizing about eating KFC (not the grilled, but the original recipe).

I know this is so wrong in so many ways, and I can't explain it.

Especially because I have been Vegan for two months.

What is wrong with me?

10. That's funny. I was jonesing for some KFC the other night.
And I too haven't eaten it in years. Have to watch my cholesterol.

9. I want to try it. I wonder if our local outlets have it?
I have to confess I do love the flavor of their original recipe and need to satisfy that craving occasionally. I'll have to check that out next time I go by.

11. A long time ago,
in a KFC in DC, a part of a mouse ended up getting breaded and deep-fried. I was just a law student then, but it made an impression on me.

Not a whole mouse - just "part".

I've never been in a KFC. So far, so good ......................
