I was just reading that "I'm starting another diet" article in the People and I really think for some people binge eating is a symptom of psychological (or physical) distress and whatever is in those Jenny Craig boxes o'food-like stuff or the emeter or whatever isn't addressing it.
Basically she says as soon as she didn't have Jenny people weighing her she started eating tons of butter and Chinese food nonstop for an entire year until she gained back all 75 pounds + a few more.
