So I saw the Star Trek movie (1 small spoiler warning)

At late night advance screening.

I liked it, even though I probably didnt want to. It was better than anything Berman and Braga ever did.


Minor Spoiler...


Highlight here to read
They totally changed up the Star Trek timelime in this movie! Some time travel stuff and Romulans! It made me feel uneasy inside as it was happening but even in the end it the plot seemed to work. But Star Trek has been changed now.

I'm taking my sister and her kids on Sunday to the Alamo Drafthouse to see it. But the following Sunday I'm going to the Imax! I cannot wait!

I'm now slightly more interested in seeing this movie...

I might still prefer the Roddenberry universe, however...
