25. Well.. 6 years of trying had made me think to reconsider

I'm in a debtor's prison of sorts where my transcripts are being held hostage over a defaulted Student Loan. To reach goal in this status I'd have to re-earn my Associates with zero Pell Grant. Impossible.

As I type this I'm devising a letter to Virginia Foxx. That's how close I am to giving up. Not yet, but close :P

28. that sucks royall, but it's not an total road block

a friend is having part of his paycheck garnished to repay a defaulted student loan. I know that really hurts your credit, but would it still be possible to take out a small private loan?

I'm in a similar situation, but I had a transcript from another school that my current school let me enroll with. But I can't apply for financial aid since my other transcript is being held hostage too. It'll take me longer to complete the program without receiving credit for the coursework I've already done, but then again, I simply don't have the 2K sitting aside to pay off the other school.

Man, that just sucks. I feel for ya!
