Update: Mrs. V. got her hard cast yesterday, but the pins did NOT come out.

We thought he said "in two weeks the pins come out," but we were wrong.

They had a hard time getting the plaster splint off, and she about broke out in a sweat because of the pain. She was in terrible pain all day and hardly slept last night.

Her new cast is a nice blue, almost Carolina blue.

I was going to post a photo of the wrist, but I'll wait to see if anyone's interested in seeing it. It's rather . . . scary ugly. I'd almost say gruesome.
