How are you today? It is already hump-day!!!

Yesterday I went home early (left work at 4pm) and took a nap on my couch. Boy, did I need that. Feeling better and refreshed today.
After work today I am going to meet with two friends. Looking forward to that. And next week I will go with another friend to an exhibition about "Looting and Restitution. Jewish-Owned Cultural Artifacts from 1933 to the Present" (http://www.jmberlin.de/raub-und-restitution/en/home.php). Looking forward to that as well.

Than some friends showed up and *they* bought copious stuff plus a Canadian Queen's Black Watch pal of hubby's showed up and they did their 'guy thing' slapping each other on the back talking tactics and war shit while sucking up hard-booze...but I'm still here some-how just watching the world go round and round yep that's me!

Glad you went home early from work yesterday and caught up on your rest. You're sounding much better today.

Very nice plans you got there. Meeting friends after work is always nice. Great way to catch up. And that exhibit sounds fabulous. You'll have to let us know how you like it.

The concert I went to last night was FANTASTIC. Gnahoré has such a great voice. And what energy in that woman. The concert lasted 1 hour and 45 minutes with no break. Then they did an encore of three and maybe four more songs. If you ever get a chance to see her and her band, please do so. She is a marvelous talent. Oh and her dancing is superb and her band is extremely talented too.

That sounds really like a fantastic band. I remember when I saw Sweet Honey in the Rocks. They were fantastic. Great voices. So I think I would like Gnahoré as well.

energy of Dobet Gnahoré. She sang in several African languages. You can tell that she enjoys what she does, she sings with such passion, such energy.

Depends on the trails. I don't do mountain biking though. There are bike paths around Frankfurt I wanna ride on, but not in the woods on uneven paths.

I was out of gas because my weekend was busy. Didn't have the time to rest.

According to my contract I need to work 38.5 hrs a week. Most times I work longer though.

I was catching up on my TIVO'd movies over the weekend, and finally saw "Schindler's List" for the first time, believe it or not...Powerful stuff...(I also saw "Angel-A," which I also like for obviously different reasons)...

I got the haircut yesterday, but it took so long I couldn't go swimming...The barber also cut my hair way shorter than I wanted (near bald)...I'll find a way to get you a photo sometime this week...
