I probably would not have to return tomorrow if it had not been for his impromptu 45 minute lecture on constitutional law.

11. I was on a jury panel 3 weeks ago. We had to endure 2 days of questioning

and I didn't get picked. I wanted to serve.

There was a guy that started banging his head against the wall...he didn't get picked either

when the defense lawyer asked him what would be on his favorite t-shirt, he said he couldn't say or else they would take him to jail..hehe

20. The one time I was called to jury duty, the one woman who was immediately bounced

by the judged was allowed to leave after saying that it was against her religious beliefs to sit in judgment on others. It probably helped that she sounded sincere. If you could sound sincere while saying that it's against either your spiritual convictions or personal moral code to pass judgment upon the condemed or something, it might help.
