I fail as a dork.
OK, so 'Dances with Wolves' was on some random movie channel tonight. Haven't seen it since it came out, so I watched it up until it got to the really depressing parts. (Just not in the mood tonight.)

I'm embarrassed to admit this, being a big BSG fan, but I had TOTALLY forgotten Mary McDonnell co-starred in that!

I'm going to think of Laura Roslin as "Stands With the Airlock" from now on.

1. Don't sell yourself short, you're a tremendous dork.
;)

(apologies to "Caddyshack")

And don't worry; I forget dorky stuff that I should know all the time.

2. I feel more validated as a human being now.
But I should have been able to say that in Quenya. :)

3. Hmmm...perhaps there are degrees of dorkiness to which you can aspire.
:)

7. I agree wholeheartedly.
One of my goals is to increase my relative geekiness in certain subjects.

9. As an example of this, I am watching old World Series highlights.
The better to improve my baseball geekery. :eyes:

4. Depressing *parts*?
There are only degrees of depressing in that movie.

Stands with the Airlock. I like it.

5. I know.
I just like the parts where they speak Lakota and Costner keeps his mouth shut.

My tearjerker tolerance is wayyy, waaayyy down these days. But then again, BSG fan....

8. I always tear up when Wind in His Hair is at the top of the mountain calling out.
"Dances With Wolves. I am Wind In His Hair. Do you see that I am your friend? Can you see that you will always be my friend?"

Something about that scene always gets to me.
