It was a very good visit, and my friend was in pretty good spirits, all things considered. Not sure who was happier, us or him. No matter what life throws at the guy he just keeps going. And it certainly puts things into some perspective. My friend said after we left, "I won't be complaining about how much my jobs sucks for a long fucking time."
