Spring cleaning!1 Bookcase!1

At one point (30 yrs ago?!1) I had something like 300 books in the (whatever) and have/had read almost all of them.


NOW, I need to get some of them OUT of here!1


HaHAH, I remember the '70s (sort of), where the later Philosophy majors had book sales on the sidewalks, saying, "I don't need these anymore!1" HaHAH!1

It's ALL the tip of the ICEBERG!1 ALL of it!1


Anyway, when I DROP, my library will be the culled-down better version of Alexandria11

1. So I "sold" some (without highlighting) to an outlet

You know the drill, ONE book costs $30 and you "sell" it back for 3 bucks!1


Anyway, I traded them all in and BOUGHT *one* ("Citizens" about the FrenchRevolution) for $14!1


Advice for youthful collectors: FerGIT about "classic" dudes like GIBBON. Instead, buy ONE modern scholastic up-to-date dingy.

2. I find it very hard to get rid of books.

Much easier to accumulate them.

4. I vacuum them at least once a year.

I wish I could get rid of more of them. :evilfrown:
