Is the new film "State of Play" worth seeing?

Anyone see it? Would you recommend it? I'm thinking of going to see it today....

I saw the mini-series, which began like an action thriller, then segued into an intellectual thriller. Plus it also had Polly Walker and Kelly MacDonald. The film will probably trim away the intellectual bit.
