Febreze and transdimensional physics
Allegedly, Febreze is not a cover-up for odors, and from my use of it, it's true. My question is, have you seen those Febreze commercials where the little bubbles of Febreze suck up the stinky smells and disappear? Where does the stink go? Are we making an alternate dimension really stinky by sending all our smelly Febreze over there? And if anyone lives there, what will they do if they ever realized where the stink came from?

I guess I need to have a bite to eat - my blood sugar's getting low. :P

2. Where does the stink go?
it seeks out the brains of republicans and eats them.

Michelle Bachmann probably uses Fabreze for deodorant, or mouthwash.

3. Simple,
When they finally realize that our demension made the stink, they'll fly/transpot/whatever here, get all thier frat boys and pranksters, make tons of stink bombs, use fabreeze to send/bubble the stink back to us, and them that'll start DW I.

Or, they might plug thier noses forever. Who knows.

12. So there's a distinct possibility that
whoever invents Febreze first, wins? :P

Welcome to DU, btw! :hi:

19. Actually, I think that they invented Febreze in the other dimension
and sent it here so that they could steal all of our stink. They think that they're really evil.

They've already sent us all of their stink. It shows up as expensive perfume and trendy deoderant.

4. Febreze is a reagent. It locks onto stink and everything quickly sinks to the ground
This is why feet stink.

23. No, it goes to Perry, Florida
Look at a map of Florida - see that bend where the Panhandle goes off from the Peninsula? Perry is just inland from there, in the armpit. Perry's main industries are paper mills and polluting the rivers. You can smell Perry fifty miles downwind.

so he can roll in concentrated stink and bring it back in the house again.

21. You personally don't have to have a dog or a yard, but in an infinite number of
possible realities there are an infinite number of yous with an infinite number of dogs, an infinite number of yards, and an infinite number of dogs+yards. That's where the stink goes. (It's all clearly explained by quantum physics...)

14. You obviously don't know a lot about physics
Let me explain: in the alternate universe, the stinky odors actually smell like a combination of lavender and kitten forehead. An inventor in that dimension concocted Ezeberf as a way to release pleasant odors so every time you spray Febreze because "this room smells a little funky" a person in the alternate universe is spraying Ezeberf because "this quadrant lacks vituperousness." We shall never understand them nor they us.

20. You may not have meant it that way,
but you are touching on a parallel dimension doctrine of despair.

Basically it starts with getting people to accept the concept of parallel dimensions, where for every choice or event a new dimension is created. A common idea in many stories.

But it then spins it by saying if you do good in this dimension, a new instance in a higher dimension will be created where the 'you' in that parallel will be forced to do bad.

The doctrine then goes back to 'nothing matters' by making the claim that in a multi verse reality nothing done changes the balance of good and bad.

However, the doctrine fails in not realizing that for it to be true, the new branched reality would have to be subject to your will, or by stating that neither had free will, or by saying that all things have an equal quantity of opposites.

It also forgets the joy that comes from choosing the better things in life, and wrongly makes a statement of single parallel to every action. There could be another dimension stacked on top of that which has numerous created instances of both the good choice and the bad, and the free will of the individuals in both do not make an equal quantity of each, there by slowly making paths of parallels of bad choices less and less in totality of existence and quantity of better choice realities more and more.

An interesting doctrine that can be used to create despair, but only if you accept the premise set up in the doctrine without going further, or challenging its premises.

26. Interesting!
I had in fact never thought of it that way, but you make a good point about branched realities being subject to my will. I'd be very surprised if they were once they were spawned off.

30. The commercials
where someone sticks their face right into a sofa or drapes that have been sprayed with those toxic chemicals makes me want to puke. :puke: All Febreze does is add another layer of odor. Just try to wash that smell out of whatever you sprayed it on.

Best way to get odors out? Clean the house and open the windows. ;)
