Can one use regular drumsticks on the Guitar Hero drumkit?

1. Yeah. You don't even have to use sticks.

You can hit it with anything: hands, beer bottles, other people's heads, whatever. Just don't hit it too hard, or it might break.

I got Guitar Hero World Tour complete band kit today from a liquidator, only things missing were the drumsticks. I figure I can get regular drumsticks cheap at the music store rather than paying 10-15 bucks for "Guitar Hero" drumsticks.

And the Rock Band kit comes with real sticks. Don't know about the GH kit though.
