I dislike Jeff Buckley's wispy voice, and k.d. lang cut out part of the lyrics, so this is the one I've always loved. It's probably the most beautiful song I've ever heard.

Buckley and Cale did them spectacularly.

I also have two versions by a jazz ban called PureBlue and a solo bassist named Scott Harlan. PureBlue's is the best I've ever heard, but as far as mainstream goes, it's Cale.

Rufus Wainwright's was alright, but I don't think it can match any of these four.
