Anyone want to buy my house?
We may be moving to Dallas in the next year and our house is on the market. Anyone want to live in Oakmont, PA?

7. Real estate markets are so funny
In my hometown, a house that size would be about $110K, even in a terrific neighborhood.

My parents' house is about 75% bigger than the house in the listing, and almost the same age, on a bigger lot (with a private lake), and it appraises $185K.

4. What's there to do in Oakmont?
Work in the mill? Raise a QB son? I'm not familiar with the area.

8. The Mystery Lover's Bookshop is in Oakmont
That alone makes it a worthwhile community.
