5. I read today that now BOTH Renaldo and Teves may be going
to Real Madrid. I hate that King Flopper may get to live his dream, but I love that ManU will suffer for the loss.

18. Think again
With the financial crisis facing the ownership of United... Ronaldo will go- He has to because they will get over 50 Million for him which should ease the debt of 45 million they lost last year. This very issue has been big on world soccer daily of late. Say goodbye to the diver!

21. I don't really like watching sports (which is too bad because my kid plays)
Edited on Fri Apr-17-09 03:36 PM by Arugula Latte
I'm a bad mom in that respect. I am happy for him when he does well and I'm glad he enjoys it and gets exercise, but 99% per the time my eyes are on the basketball court or the baseball field and my brain is 1,000 miles away. I try to psyche myself into getting "into" the whole thing but I just don't seem to be able to force myself to become a sports person.

As for participation in "sports," I enjoy smacking the tennis ball around and swimming.

On edit: I do like watching some of the Olympic sports. Track and field kicks ass, and the swimming races are cool, too.

In that order. Though the NHL is making it harder and harder for hockey to stay on top as they further wussify the game.

34. Top four...
1. NCAA Women's Volleyball
2. NCAA Women's Gymnastics
3. International Women's Diving (Although that one's getting a little creepy to watch, as the girls get younger and tinier. Kinda like what happened with international gymnastics from the late 70's and onward.)

4. NHL Hockey (Die-hard Kings fan. Maybe I should've switched to the Ducks like my buddies. Nah. Fuck that shit. GO KINGS GO!)

be more fun to watch sometimes. Maybe because they are faster paced. But ultimately, I go with baseball.

44. Football. REAL AMURCAN FOOTBALL, not that other shit.
Love to watch it, used to play a little in the park, mainly a running back/fullback.
(I also played "soccer" in college, but I don't have the wind for it at 61.)
