Anyone remember a mid 1980's computer game called "President Elect?"
It was cool for the time. No graphics, but you pick to be an incumbent or not and the conditions of the country (at war or peace, prosperous or recession, etc.) and you entered numerical values on certain issues to determine how liberal or conservative you were.

They also had actual members of congress as possible candidates you could run against if you wanted to. It was a blast. Your popularity determined how much money you had to spend, and you really had to pick and choose where you were going to spend money and campaign. It was a great civics lesson on how an election was run.

Any idea on if that game is still floating around anywhere, and how I might get a copy of it. I think it was made by SSI, but I can't be sure.
