1. What I got

You've outlived Dana Plato by one day. She was a troubled star of TV's "Diff'rent Strokes" (1978-84) who declined into a career in softcore porn. She died of a accidental overdose of hydrocodone and Valium on May 8, 1999, when you were 24 years old.

And in 8 days, I will have outlived Jeffrey Dahmer. Cool!

2. Here's what I got.
At your exact age, Joseph Goebbels died of suicide by cyanide and gunshot. He was a Nazi propaganda minister (1933-45) and Chancellor of Germany for a day after Hitler's suicide.

You've outlived Alexander Hamilton by two days. He was a lawyer, political theorist, politician, a U.S. Founding Father and first Secretary of the Treasury. He died of injuries sustained in a duel on July 12, 1804, 158 years before you were born.

I'd say depressing is what it is. These guys were actors (one of them admittedly a very heinous actor) on the world stage, and I'm pumping out quotes for fans, grilles, and dampers to mechanical contractors.

Then again, I've outlived them both. So it could be worse, ya know?

4. "You've outlived Abbie Hoffman by almost two weeks.
... He was a Chicago Seven member who founded the radical/absurdist "Yippie" movement of the 1960s. He died by suicide on April 12, 1989, when you were 32 years old."

5. I've outlived the author Edward Bok.
But then at 66 years and 93 days, I've outlived a fair share of the human race.

Feel better or worse ....?

I'll pass on that one.

6. Christy Henrich?
Apparently a gymnast. Though, in a little over a month, I will have outlived Darby Crash.

Mary Wollstonecraft was about 2 months younger than you when she died of septicemia after childbirth on September 10, 1797. She was a feminist author of "Vindication of the Rights of Woman" and mother of Mary Shelley. She died 174 years before you were born.

11. I've probably outlived 95% of the human race
Historically speaking. We weren't really designed to live long enough to retire.

12. That's why they put the Social Security eligibility age at 65 - few
people reached it at the time.

13. Well mine sucked. It said, "That’s exactly half the life of somebody famous. In another 45 years..."
... In another 45 years and 193 days, you will have lived exactly as long as Maharishi Mahesh Yogi."

That's just cheating. Dude, at least compare me to someone truly also-ran... like Bronson Pinchot or the like.

14. 61 years and 249 days old, I have outlived 3 people I never heard of
and 2 who I have, but didn't care much about.

My main interest was surviving the 2 heart attacks I had in '03 (Obviously, I did) and living a very long time so I can extract every nickle I can in pension money from my former employer (so far, so good.)

I don't know whether this knowledge makes me feel better or not, but I'm glad it's me reading about them rather than them reading about me.....
