2. They're all great, but "Peg" is 3:58 of pop perfection.
Even with the annoying Michael MacDonald on backup vocals.

3. Any Major Dude
Edited on Tue Mar-09-04 10:31 PM by dweller
I never seen you looking so bad my funky one
You tell me that your superfine mind has come undone

Any major dude with half a heart surely will tell you my friend
Any minor world that breaks apart falls together again
When the demon is at your door
In the morning it won't be there no more
Any major dude will tell you

Have you ever seen a squonk's tears? Well, look at mine
The people on the street have all seen better times

I can tell you all I know, the where to go, the what to do
You can try to run but you can't hide from what's inside of you

Then there's Doctor Wu and Pretzel Logic.

Those are my three favorites, none of 'em on this damn poll

That's it, I'm going to the Free Republic.

That's what I love about Steely Dan; every song is about people going too far.

22. I had the honor of being at the first concert they played in 19 years.....
at the Palace of Auburn hills, (Where the Detroit Pistons play, north of Detroit, south of Pontiac) ohhhh,,,,when was it? '92 or so?

35,000 40 year olds singing "My Old School"

Glorious.

Becker and Fagan are two musical geniuses.

Vote for their best song?
well, My old School, of course!
naaah...all of them.....i like them all, but i think the definitive Dan tune has GOT to be
"Chain Lightning"

25. I was lucky enough to see them when that tour stopped in Nashville.
best.concert.ever

Can't pick a single favorite song, but I am partial to all of the album "Aja".

Fagen's "The Nightfly" was great as well...I still get "New Frontier" running through my head on occasion.
