19. E.T. Ruled!
Gotta find the pieces of the phone... while eating M&M's for energy. But stay away from the scientist and the FBI (or the gray guy and the other white guy on my old B&W TV)

Elliot was worthless, though.

9. Didn't get this game (at the rent club) enough to enjoy it.
I was heavily into Megamania, Frostbite, Demon Attack, Starmaster.

16. Raiders of the Lost Ark on Atari
I could never beat that game as a kid. i always got as far as the map room and then when the sun comes in, it killed me instead of showing where the ark was.

I played that game for years and could never get past that part.

This bit of unresolved business from my childhood still haunts me to this day.

17. It took me two years...
But I FINALLY beat it. The final part where you dig up the ark is a pain.

You better ask your momma if you wanna come over to my house and play. The ultra-realistic graphics of snakes and scorpions in Pitfall II might be too much for you 2600 babies to handle.

Bally Astrocade:

Three built in games, and an alphanumeric keyboard which allowed the user to write his own Basic language programs...very, very slowly, and save them to cassette tape.

Resolution: True 160x102** / Basic 160x88
Colours: True 8* / Basic 2
Graphic type: Bitmap, 2 plane bitpacked
CPU: Z80
Speed: 3.579 MHz
ROM: 8K
Ram: 4K
Cart ROM: 8K
Expansion: 64K total
Sound: 3 Voice + Noise & Vibrato
Ports: 4 Controller, 1 Expansion, 1 Light pen

It SMOKED the Atari systems, but was a victim of poor marketing/distribution. We had one, and it was great!
