The wind gusts have been really strong.

My wind chimes are really getting a workout.

1. I took my chimes down last week because of the winds
and was afraid of them getting torn off.

Also, I usually park on top of the parking garage at work (because I like a nice warm car to toast for a while in after working in a "meat locker" of an office) and was getting literally blown sideways walking to my car!

I did notice some pidgeons around here when I got home (I've already berated the neighbor downstairs for feeding them, yet it seems I'm "outnumbered" by other apartment "neighbors" for not wanting that type of bird around.) I guess the flying rats aren't as bothered by the high winds ;)

2. We have a pair of hawks that live in the woods,
There is not so many pidgeons around now.

It was hard to walk today.

I was downtown one time when the wind was so strong it was impossible to walk at all.

I am working on having the windchime house, like the beercan house.

3. A windchime house. Now that would be cool!
:D

Have you ever heard of windharps? You can get custom-built windharps that fit in windows and doorframes, like at the link. The larger variety have been built on hilltops and as wind-sculptures in cities (I think, though not entirely sure on the last point.) This is a type I haven't seen before, either, though I am familiar with the term, if not the particular form: Aeolean Windharps

In some ways, I'd like to have something really large, like the "bells" Mike Oldfield strikes in this live version of Tubular Bells III :D

Couldn't do that in the city, though :P
