Little Miss Perfect

Has anybody ever watched this madness? It's on the WE channel. I don't have daughters, but loading these little girls up in make up and putting them in a Little Miss Perfect pageant is strange to me.


So when they don't win, are they now considered Not Perfect?

1. I would watch it, I have pity on them but am fascinated by the absurd.

Good question, seems like they're only perfect when compared to another parents exploited child.

But really the whole affair seems to ensure that they'll grow up with inadequacy issues.

2. I watched it once, and am still reeling...

from the effects. And there's another one, I think with "Tiaras" in the title, that seems to be the same thing, but I can't watch.

(And why is this not considered child abuse?)

3. I caught a few minutes of it last night

My heart broke for one little girl. (5 or 6) Her mother snapped at her for "coloring outside the lines" and when the girl started to cry her mother yelled at her again, telling her "don't cry, you'll mess up your make-up!"

I felt like crying. :(

4. The creep singing the little miss perfect song to the girls at the

end is disgusting. Poor kids...you know they will grow up with all sorts of insecurities.
