1. That is the perfect outdoor space for the urban cat.
Very cool.

I have a neighbor who has a do-it-yourself version for her cats. It's miles of wire mesh tunnels that let the cats walk through the garden, around the outside of the house and up to the roof. It's amazing.

2. I'd spend $1000 to get that for my cats.
If I could. But how do you keep the flies out of the house?

7. There's probably a cat flap on the window
Here it would be about keeping the cool air inside.

4. You and me both.
But my apartment building management would be very upset if I installed something like that. I think you're likely to get one of those long before me. :P

9. The cage is expensive
Especially when you consider it needs a lid. Cats will climb anything they can.

6. I like the kitty hammocks about half way up.
You know how hard it is for cats to relax.

11. Schveiks! That's the cheap one! And everything...
in it is extra. Even the tube. The eight foot one for 3 grand plus the extras is good for not just the cats, but you can put birds in there for them to hunt.

I am tempted to build something like this for the deck, though, and it won't cost me a grand.

(I love the homepage for these guys-- Here are our brands, but if you're a cheap fuck, or just a broke loser, go to our bargain under $500 page.)

13. That is crazy cool --
and would be so easy to fabricate yourself. Make it square, use 2x4s and some exterior grade ply, wirecloth, and a store bought kitteh tower -- viola!

14. Oh my gosh that is so cool!
I love the tube and the cat door for the window. Easy kitty access whenever they want.

Hmmm...thinking hard about how we could make that with stuff we have around here. We've been using a large dog kennel/cage to let our grandkitty go out with us. He loves it but I'm sure he would love to have more room.

15. I love the conduit going from the cage to the house.
If the cage itself were a bit larger, it would be perfect. They need more space to mark their territory.
