I created a CIA spoof cite, and posted it around a few places last night.
It was based on two pages I cut and pasted from the CIA web site, and was changed so that Tenet was doing a briefing on the "cloaking technology" used by Saddam.
and were/are the sites.
I was getting pretty good traffic - and this morning I went in to modify the second site, and found that the links to images had been removed. I looked further and all the href= had been removed.
Before posting the site I had removed all href links EXCEPT the link from the first page to the second. And the images, while downloaded from the CIA were posted on my web site.
So basically, it looked like somebody had done something. I pasted back in the saved script, and it would change back to the hacked version. I have been around computers long enough to know that I might have been screwing things up, but it seems pretty strange that a spoof on the CIA seemed to be getting the "enemy of the state" treatment.
SO -- can anybody help out. I've changed my password, but don't know where to go from here.
The site is main site is based on movable type, and uses Cpanel.
thanks.
