Help! One of the cats ate 1/4 pound of marble cheese.
I left it on the counter, and now it's gone!

Do you cat experts think that's okay? Should I call a vet, or am I being silly?

1. Give the cat lots of grass or chives
It might get a wee bit constipated.

4. most cats will eat greens from time to time
I usually sprout some uncut oats in a piepan full of potting soil. The fur bearers love it.

Chives give them bad breath...

9. "Gone" not necessarily eaten!
Sometimes they drag food away... Look in the usual spots.

I doubt any real harm will come to your cat, but keep an eye on them for signs of constipation. More likely they will have some sort of gastric upset and the cheese will be quickly expelled from one end or the other, though.
