My employers are determined to keep me down.

I am sick about this. I have been working for almost 12 years but apparently that does not count. Why will they not promote from within? I do not understand how a kid fresh out of grad school is more qualified than me, who has been here all that time AND has a Masters degree? I am so frustrated and angry right now at these people. But there is nothing else out there for me. Well, I could apply for some jobs in Arkansas but I really do not want to move there (sorry folks from Arkansas, I need the beach). I feel really, really stuck but at least I have a job (that I hate and that sucks the life out of me completely). I fucking hate my life.
